nerakroseToday's rec is in Finnish! I'm... Sorry. Michi linked me to this earlier today and as I've been busy and not read much today and this kinda gave me instant feels, I'm going to rec it anyway. I think tomorrow I'm going to rec some podfics because I've got some podfic catching up to do and I've got some favourites I want to share that I never recced before.

why you want to read this: ok it's short, but you have to know that John Winchester is my homeboy - I do NOT hate him like fandom does. I WILL defend him if you talk crap about him. And this fic I feel embodies some of my feelings about John, but also it puts in words his own feelings. In less than 300 words, well done. What really got me was the last two sentences, which is like, wow, okay, I've rarely read anything more true about John than that. You know how Sam and dean have daddy issues? Well, John has daddy issues directed towards himself. Everyone's daddy issues are just labelled "John Winchester".
why you don't want to read this: well, it's in Finnish. I don't think I've got a whole lot of people on my flist who understand Finnish to begin with.
