I skim through my kudos emails every day just to see what people are into and if something exciting is going on (sudden influx of kudos? one person going through half my catalogue?), and a few weeks ago I got this:
cue my reaction best described as several memes originating from America's Next Top Model that I absolutely am not going to bother googling right now, because this person podficced some of my fave SPN fics that I still occasionally listen to - I don't listen to stuff in general but about ten ish years ago I wanted to get into more audio based media, so I was listening to Cabin Pressure and Welcome to Night Vale and a lot of podfic, until I burnt out about it because it wasn't sustainable for me (it takes SO much energy for me to listen to things) and I dropped it all again. save for a tiny handful of podfics that are just soothingly familiar, read by this person. (related: I very much wanted to join the Magnus archives bandwagon but again, I just can't expend the energy, so I have a half-formed plan of binding the transcripts eventually and just reading the whole thing.)
and then...! tonight! I got another email from ao3! notifying me of this:

of all the things I've written I didn't think this fic of all fics I've written would wind up with a podfic, but I'm absurdly pleased and happy that it now exists in podfic format. :D
