If you want to friend me (I mean, mutual grant access & subscribe) please tell me who you are if your dw username is not the same as your tumblr one, as I won't grant access to people I don't know who are. Even if you are reasonably certain we know each other, I'm not great with names (that includes usernames) so tell me who you are anyway.

If you subscribe/grant me access without talking to me (either through a private message here or a comment or on tumblr or whatever), I won't grant you access and I probably won't subscribe. Though I do have to say, I don't have many public posts. I post almost exclusively locked entries (appr once a week) and this is because I use this journal to talk about my life in far more detail than I do on public platforms such as tumblr. Public entries are usually fandom related in a public way, such as fic recs or other general fandom things. when I just blather on about my writing or the fests I'm doing or whatever, it's all under lock same as when I blather about my life.

Finally, here's a few communities:

underheard - a comm for reccing underappreciated fanworks (multifandom)

getyourwordsout - a comm for writers. Sign ups start dec 14 and close dec 31, and there are several writing pledges to choose from. This year I'm doing the 240 days pledge, there are also word count orientated pledges. Throughout the year there are discussion posts about writing craft, genre, etc. It's for both fanfic writers and pro writers and everything else in between.

daily_snitch - a Harry Potter fandom newsletter

yuletide and

yuletide_admin for all your yuletide needs

small_gifts - the annual Remus/Sirius gift exchange fest (currently posting!)

trope_bingo - a comm for getting your bingo card (and post your bingo once you have it, though it's not a requirement). Multifandom/no fandom required. I believe there's a kink bingo too, but I haven't checked that out.

snowflake_challenge - annual January challenge (I don't know if it'll be back in 2019) though there's no time limit. The focus is always fandom love.
