I have some ideas for what I'd like to do for this fest, though I'm struggling to decide between teddy/james and hugo/scorpius.i may just have to do both.

Warning(s): Angst. Definitely angst. Mentions of minor character death that have occurred before the start of the action. Small amount of violence. Musings on death and dying, as the prompt warrants.
Epilogue compliant? Nope, definitely not.
Word Count: ~31,400
Why you want to read this: a lovely throwback to H/D fics of old, where cursefics were plentiful (and often heartbreaking). it being smoochfest, the ending can of course only be happy, about which I'm very happy :D it's sweet, low-key (not on the angst) and had me smiling a lot.
also - yesterday i was looking at reclists, and stumbled over this old classic (which also happens to have been pretty formative for me - it was one of the first fics i read for this ship). my heart made a noise, i made a noise, and subsequently i spent most of my evening re-reading it, until i had to get some sleep, and then finished it today. i'm not sure that I can explain why i love this series so much, i just know that it has always done something to my heart that i can't quite explain. i just love it so, so much. it tugs at me and reduces me to this non-person who makes noises at the screen.
so, in case anybody else feels like being reminded that this fic exists, here's your reminder.
