Not Another Supersoldier Fantasy (16462 words) by triedunture
Fandom: Captain America (Movies), Marvel Cinematic Universe
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers
Characters: James "Bucky" Barnes, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanov, Clint Barton, Bruce Banner, Sam Wilson (Marvel), Jarvis (Iron Man movies), Thor (Marvel)
Additional Tags: Romantic Comedy, Friends to Lovers, Unrequited Love, Bisexual Character, Asexual Character, Trans Character, Deaf Clint Barton, Mental Health Issues, Sex Toys, Dildos, Masturbation, Bottom Steve Rogers, Second-Hand Embarrassment, Post-Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Summary: Bucky finds a popular sex toy modeled on Captain America's own anatomy. Well, isn't this just perfect? Because even after all this time, he still hasn’t seen Steve’s supersoldier cock. But apparently in this day and age anyone with $29.95 can get a decent replica. The unfairness of this is of galactic proportions.
Why you should read this: this is hilariously awesome. there were some really great lines in there, and this type of bucky is one of my favourite types of bucky. i was a little meh on the ending (i would've preferred it to go another way than it did), but it's still really great. read it if only for the travelling dildo and deaf!clint (deaf!clint is my favourite have you noticed).

we're all in the mood for a melody (and you've got us feeling alright) (11995 words) by laughtershock
Fandom: Skyfall (2012), James Bond (Craig movies)
Rating: Mature
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: James Bond/Q
Characters: James Bond, Q (James Bond), Eve Moneypenny, Bill Tanner
Additional Tags: Drunkenness, bartending, pianist!Q, Alternate Universe
Summary: "I was just thinking, you look like you give great fellatio," Q explains, because it isn't like he was staring to be weird or anything, only then Bond fumbles the glass he's holding and nearly spills brandy down his front.

(The one where Q plays piano at the hotel where Bond bartends, and the combined powers of alcohol and Billy Joel induce a reluctant, clumsy love story.)
Why you should read this: you know when you read something and you just smile and go YES because everything is right and perfect and good? i've been in such a good mood since i finished this. it's not lie that AUs are my favourite, and this one is very good. funny and sweet and the interactions and characters are perfect. i'm sighing happily just thinking about this fic, guys. ♥

Cynics are Simply Thwarted Romantics (13746 words) by Reccea
Fandom: Captain America (Movies), Captain America - All Media Types, The Avengers (Marvel Movies), The Avengers (Marvel) - All Media Types
Rating: Not Rated
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers
Characters: James "Bucky" Barnes, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanov, Clint Barton, Bruce Banner, Sam Wilson (Marvel)
Additional Tags: True Love's Kiss, Magic
Summary: "It could be alien technology," Natasha offered, folding her arms over her chest. "Something he stumbled on. They're still finding things from the Chitauri so it's not impossible. But the simplest answer is the most likely."

"How is magic the simplest answer?" Stark asked.

Or

In which Steve is Sleeping Beauty and true love's kiss doesn't have to be requited. Or does it?

Why you should read this: i read this this morning in bed as an excuse to not have to get up yet and i'm still smiling. it's cute and hilarious and jabs at some fandom tropes in a very loving, non-malicious way. bucky is adorable. this is not a fairytale AU, rather, some villain is throwing out fairytale style curses at people. it's great.

A World Gone Mad
Warnings: wanking, frotting, brief oral, some foul language because well, they’re teenage boys.
Word Count: 18,404
Summary: The realization that he may have not so platonic feelings for Remus lead Sirius to some realizations about himself and his family, and maybe, to start healing.
Prompt: 51 - We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.”
~ from "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" by Tom Stoppard
Why you want to read this: Classic hogwarts era fic, and super cute and fluffy to boot. It does have a little angst, but on the whole, it's a super sweet read. The characterisations are all spot on.

Between the Moon and the Stars
Rating: M
Warnings: Some pain/gore, related to the werewolf transformation. Underage in some countries, legal for the UK. (They are both 16)
Word Count: 3000
Summary: The summer before their sixth year, and everything changes and stays the same.
Prompt: #53 - "I want warm summer nights, to lie in a hammock, staring at the stars, telling you stories. I want to dip my toes in the water, to dangle my feet off the edge of the dock and sit leaning forward, looking at you, laughing till our stomachs hurt, that’s the summer I’ve always dreamt about." - Anonymous
Why you want to read this: this is beautiful. Short but sweet, and very vivid. Teenage boys in love ♥

We Might Fall
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Angst
Word Count: 7137
Summary: Behind the veil, Sirius unwrites his life, one electric light at a time.
Prompt: #62 - "She said she knew she was able to fly because when she came down she always had dust on her fingers from touching the light bulbs." - from Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger
Why you want to read this: beautiful and heartwrenching. I cried actual, literal tears and then couldn't stop.

Stay (please)
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: One-sided love, prostitution, nudity, sex, hits of BDSM, smoking, angst, and bad handwriting. I think that's all.
Summary: He really should have known better than to fall in love with a prostitute. But as long as it feels real...
Prompt: 62 - “She said she knew she was able to fly because when she came down she always had dust on her fingers from touching the light bulbs.”
~ from "Franny and Zooey" by J.D. Salinger
Why you want to read this: comic! Sad comic! The kind of AU you love because it makes you cry but at the same time you want MORE. Yes. (Hooker!au. also known as one of my ultimate weaknesses.)
