i set up a sideblog on tumblr for yuri on ice things - i normally don't care when my usual tumblr starts slanting towards a new fandom - the stuff i reblog on there is an eclectic mix of memes, various book, movie and tv fandoms and the occasional personal post, so it's all par for the course.

but then i made the mistake of checking whether the url victorextranikiforov was free, and well. here i am! *throws up hands*

SCI-FI-ROYALTY-SPORTS-AU. the sequel is also ARRANGED MARRIAGE AU. i'm. literally a puddle on the floor. i broke my "do not read victor/yuri fics" rule because it just wasn't Right to only read the second fic in a series, and boy am i glad i did. these fics are so good i can't cope with the sheer perfection i mean, i'm just. .___. flailing. ANYWAY, if you're into slow burn and hilarity (yurio is gr8 and if you're not wheezing with laughter at christophe's emails i don't know what's wrong with you) and loveliness and also just, awesomeness all around - this is the Thing to read. i took my sweet time with these to really savour them and then instantly subscribed to the series because it's not marked complete SO THERE MIGHT BE MORE. so many moments of laughter and screaming into a pillow because of these goddamn dorks. be still my heart, lest you explode in my chest. ALSO, SPACE! god, i love sci-fi. i should really write more of it myself. it's awesome. ♥
