nerakrose: (harry/draco)
[personal profile] nerakrose
i'm skipping day 4 as that's the 'interact with someone new' prompt, and given how many new people i've friended lately i'm a) covered and b) reaching a point where i'm socially fed up. :p that being said, i'm unlikely to deny a friend request if somebody comes along and desperately wants to make new friends. for those who missed it or are newer than new, there's a brief introduction post a few entries back.

Day 5

In your own space, post recs for at least three fanworks that you did not create.

i have some more [ profile] hd_erised recs to make before reveals go up on monday.

Summary: With Draco Malfoy as his assigned partner for the next six weeks of Auror training, Harry had been prepared for things to go poorly. But getting themselves accidentally bonded to each other in the first twenty minutes of their very first assignment seemed going above and beyond, even for them.
Why you should read this: This was so cute and lovely! The banter between Harry and Draco was great. I also loved how supportive Ron and Hermione were (and particularly that Ron thought they were already together!), the slow build and all the kissing at the end ♥ I also particularly loved that there was very little UST to speak of.

Summary: For twenty years, the official history has told readers that Harry Potter died at the Battle of Hogwarts. The next edition is going to require some significant revisions.
Why you should read this: this was wonderful! i loved it very much. the slow build of trust and camaraderie between harry and draco (and the love, of course), the way they all worked together to get harry out, the casual killing a couple of times a week (!!!) which had me laugh out loud so many times, and also just shake my head in general, the potterites (omg). i had to shed a few tears at the end there, as it was simply too lovely all around. i adore it.

i know that's not three, but i currently don't have any other recs to make.
